The PolyATtract mRNA Isolation Systems use the MagneSphere technology to isolate mRNA rapidly and effectively from total RNA. The systems use a biotinylated oligo(dT) primer to hybridize, at high efficiency in solution, to the 3' poly(A)+ region present in most mature eukaryotic mRNAs. The hybrids are bound to streptavidin coupled to paramagnetic particles, captured using a magnetic separation stand and washed at high stringency. The mRNA is eluted from the solid phase by the simple addition of ribonuclease-free, deionized water. With total RNA as the starting material, poly(A)+ mRNA is isolated in approximately 45 minutes. The isolated mRNA is suitable for all molecular biology applications, including in vitro translation and cDNA synthesis. Cat.# Z5200 contains sufficient reagents for 3 separate mRNA isolations, each from 1-5mg of total RNA. Cat.# Z5210 contains the same reagents as Cat.# Z5200, excluding the Magnetic Separation Stand. Cat.# Z5300 contains sufficient reagents for 15 separate mRNA isolations, each from 100-1,000ug of total RNA. Cat.# Z5310 contains the same reagents as Cat.# Z5300, excluding the Magnetic Separation Stand.|
