Oligo(dT)15 Primer is suitable for use as a primer for first-strand cDNA synthesis with a reverse transcriptase. The primer hybridizes to the poly(A) tail of mRNA. Random Primers can be used for first-strand cDNA synthesis and cloning; they also are available as components of the Universal Riboclone cDNA Synthesis System (Cat.# C4360) and Reverse Transcription System (Cat.# A3500). The primers are random hexadeoxynucleotides. The EcoRI Adaptors consist of two complementary oligonucleotides: a 16mer and a 12mer phosphorylated at the 5'-end. The oligonucleotides are provided annealed in equimolar concentrations in water. The EcoRI Adaptors attach EcoRI sticky ends to blunt-ended DNA.|
